We talk a different language than the people back then do.
You want me to prove things with scripture, but yet you refuse to see things from the perspective and language of the people to whom these things were written to.
An example from today...here, belching is considered rude. In the Oriental countries, it's considered a COMPLEMENT. Different people, different meaning. The same thing goes with the Bible. Different people, different meaning. You have to study the WHOLE Bible to understand various meanings to various words and phrases. The man who sent me that e-mail has done this, and many others are doing it also and coming up with the same thing. It all has to do with timing, language, and history.
I didn't call you names. I simply said you refuse to see things, and I stand by that.
