Coffee Confessions

Share with us a little about you-- how long have you been a CafeMom member, and what does your screen name mean?  We have been members for a little over 3 years and love it here! We have met many great Moms and hope to meet more. Some of us have even met in person. Our screen name is a combination of who we are as group owners per the name of our groups initials, CC.

Now, tell us a little about your group- how long have you owned it, and what made you start it?  We have owned Coffee Confessions for a little over 3 years, yes the same time just about when we first became CM members. First MichelleK41 started it per advice from ARMom, Emjay and meeting Twinmomma12234. Behind these wonderful ladies came many, many more wonderful friends who kept the inspiration and bond going in the group and then Twinmomma12234 and MichelleK41 joined together to support each other as GO's on CM. The group is about wonderful women/moms all over the world who inspire, encourage and support one another all while drinking on their favorite addictions most of the time, LOL!

Is your groups primary focous friendships?  Our groups primary focus is Friendships based on a bond they create together through encouragement, support, laughter, tears, advice and fun. There's never been anything that the ladies can not talk about with each other and still carry that Friendship torch for one another. =)

What do you do in your group to encourage friendships to be made? Chat, chat, chat and by chat we mean through posts and replies made with each other by discussing things such as  meeting one another, our favorite family moments, our addictions, our *adult thrills, our fun times, our duh moments, our tears, our laughter, our fav. drinks/recipes/holidays, our families and SO's. We know as Friends we can put anything on the table and not worry about the choas of drama when we need a Friends ear.

What do you think your members take away from their group experience while they are a part of your group?  We're laid back, supportive, have our ups and downs like most humans do and that we're real to ourselves and each other. That it does not take drama to make or have fun. =)

Are there any other tips you would like to give a group that might just be starting out?  Sure just keep at it, you can't build an active group over night (well depending on the subject, LOL). Never give up and always, always communicate with your Admin. team. Be in your group as much as your Admin.'s and your members by posting and replying to others. Show your members and your Admin. team you care about them and the group as much as they do. If you ever need advice or have a question never be afraid to ask Cafemom or members, even if its through a private email.  If your members are FB addicts, advertise your group daily there or at least a few times a week so you can bring your current members by and maybe gain new ones as well. =)
