Share with us a little about you-- how long have you been a CafeMom member, and what does your screen name mean?
I've been a member of CM going on 3 years now. My screen name just basically means I'm a Sinner.
Now, tell us a little about your group- how long have you owned it, and what made you start it?
The
Clamhouse has been opened since May 10, 2010. A bunch of us girls have
known each other for about 3 years now and we wanted a place for us to
go and talk and share the ups and downs of our lives.
Is your groups primary focus friendships?
It sure is! Well aside from awesomeness! :)
What do you do in your group to encourage friendships to be made?
We welcome everyone and try to get them involved in our conversations. We make "game" posts and polls for those that are kinda shy but still want to participate.
What do you think your members take away from their group experience while they are a part of your group?
That we're family!!! They know they can come in to The Clamhouse, express themselves and never feel judged. My Clammies are always available to make you smile when you've had a bad day!
Are there any other tips you would like to give a group that might just be starting out?
Quality!!! Not quantity!! Your group doesn't have to have a lot of members to be great!!!
