Not sure WHERE to post this..

Is it okay for a person to join a group and Cafemom to do a research study for their schooling?

I know its difficult to know WHO someone is but I am just wondering what is the thought on this??

THANKS

I've seen posts in the groups I'm in where a "mom" will say she is writing her thesis (or whatever) and ask questions.

Usually she gets lots of answers.

I dont see anything wrong with it if you are honest upfront with the group.

I've seen it in some of my groups.  Only 1 person upset the group with her comments.  Her assignment, supposedly, was to start an argument.  She did a good job of it.

I can see a prof giving an assignment like that.  I took a communications class in college where we were supposed to go somewhere public (I chose a gas station) and ask for directions & act as stupid as possible - asking the same question over & over or something - I don't remember the exact assignment now, its been over 20 years.  But I could see someone assigning their students to go online & start an arguement to see what happens or something along those lines.
