            In 3 of  my  Groups  we have Sister Groups. We are sister Groups to each other. Plus some members are owners on other Groups. And we are sister groups.

           As Sister groups  you  usually have something in common  such as age of members, likes, area, etc.

           For example;
                                Baby Boomers & Beyond  &  Grandmas Group
                                                    Age, family,grandmas

You  can  scout  for  a  Sister Group by asking your members
or;  Ask here
or  at  the Group owners Group

        This is just a agreement between the "Owners".

2 moms liked this
It's where 2 groups pare up and give each other to promote in each others groups in order to try to get more members.

For me I don't see the point, but some people like it.

the advantage of sister groups is the ability to promote - for members, your parties, etc.

The disadvantage, especially if the groups are very similar is uniqueness.  You lose your groups mojo I guess.  At least that has been my experince.

What you need to do is align yourself with groups that are similar yet a bit disimilar so that your groups uniqueness does not get lost.

Good luck!
