This member had been full of hope... Well she just lost it, she no longer wants to hear about God, and has turned her page black. She had been praying for something that was a need and not a want and the prayer has not been answered. While I do not believe in giving up on God if she does that is a lost soul and we as believers want to lead people in the right path and help them to their salvation, I am not saying she has lost hers. I am not going to put her name on her some may know her.

When we pray on this post God knows who I was thinking of when I wrote it and our prayers will be answered in His perfect will.

God bless,

Sheri

prayingDear Heavenly Father, I pray in agreement for this mom, Lord that you reach out to her, touch her, let her know that You are still there, that You still love her, and that You will provide her needs, only in Your time. Father we all go through times where our faith may grow weak, I pray that you hold her, let her feel your presence, and bring her through this trial she is facing, so that she will be able to stand up and give You the honor and the glory and praise Your name again! In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. GOD knows our needs & wants, long before we ask for them. HE also knows what's best, and do we suppose we are more intelligent or smarter than HE? Some may think so, as this particular person may have done. She cannot give up, because even JESUS CHRIST, in the Garden of Gethsemane, prayed time & time again. So, are we better than HIM, that we only pray a few times!   GOD bless! ruthjohn257

Oh boy!  Do I understand!   I am there right now!  Not giving up...Never giving up my faith!  But wondering Why?   Why are my 'needs'  not being attended to ?

If I could give her anything it would be to hold on!   ...even if it is just one more day.   God knows of her struggles and will provide a way...if she just keeps her heart open!

That will be my prayer...for an open heart.

Thank you for bringing this up for prayer!

Thank you for the post. I will definitely be praying for her & I agree with you & these other ladies here.

In Matthew 18:18-20 the bible says, "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

I am standing on that word now & believing in Him & trusting in Him to meet every single need your friend has.

But let me tell ya something that I have been learning about & that is God's Grace. God has shown me thru a wonderful book called "If not for the Grace of God" by Joyce Meyer.

I thought I had given all my needs over to the Lord & I thought that His blood had it all covered.  And I did. But the thing is, is that I wasn't allowing myself to accept the gift that the Lord was trying to give me. You see it isn't by my works it is by God's Grace.

If I don't feel worthy to accept His gift to me, then I can not receive it. I can not buy the gift with my good deeds or with my faith. I can only put my hand out and accept & receive this gift & Thank Him for it.

Perhaps your friend, like me, doesn't feel worthy to accept God's precious Gifts of Love, Hope, Joy, etc. Perhaps she is in need of knowing that even if she doesn't "deserve" it, she can accept it because that is what Jesus died for. For our sins, & for us to live life to the full. He wants us to be happy & He wants to meet our needs & give us His Precious Gifts. But, our spiritual needs must come before our physical needs & only He knows the right timing.

Jeremiah 29:11  "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

Matthew 6:25-27 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"

I hope I have made since here, ladies. God will provide! I know He will...He always does! Love you all! God Bless!
