I just got the sims 3 today and was wondering if anyone else had any issues with it installing....it is taking forever on my comp to install

I had no problems, but several folks on the official Sims 2 boards have had plenty of issues. You might check there if you've still not been able to properly install.

I would say check your computer and make sure it meets the game requirements...
