OK, let's get started. I was born in Tn, my first husband was in the Army so for six years we lived in a lot of places, including Germany, which was wonderful. That's where I guess I developed my passion for travel. I am retired now and do occasionally get to travel, but one of the most important things you should know about me is that I'm raising my 3 year old great granddaughter, which sort of limits my traveling. Our last vacation was last August. We went to a little town in Florida, New Smyrna Beach. We go there almost every year, for 35 years. My DH has been going since he was a little boy. Last year we did an Alaskan cruise. My favorite vacation was a 3 week stay in London and Germany, I just love Europe. (Back to the first question, I've lived in Tn. the rest of my life, except for 4 years in Atlanta). I drink coffee in the morning, tea at night. I have two spoiled rotten cats, Babycat and Dumdum. Babycat is 12 years old and almost 20 lb. Dumdum's name is self explanatory. My favorite toy has to be this computer, especially since I found cafemom! My favorite memory of motherhood has to be just the experience of giving birth. The whole thing is such a miracle. Getting to meet those little people for the first time is an unparalled event. You didn't ask, but my least favorite memory of motherhood is potty training, which I'm dealing with again right now. I thin that answers everything, if not I'll get back to you.![]()
1) read and browse cafemom
2) classic rock, oldies, smooth jazz, gregorian chants
3) reading, travel when I can, bridge, computer games
4) I was actually dating a friend of his, and we met at a party at my house
5) worst thing is all the congestion and traffic,( we live less than 5 miles from Tn. largest mall)
best thng is , well, I just love my hometown! There is beautiful scenery, and our local government has made tons of improvement to our downtown area, which had become almost deserted. They have done a great job of adding new buildings, but leaving them intermingled with very old churches and other buildings.
