what do you do to enjoy time to yourself? When I am not working or hanging with my daughter, I like to read. I read that the average American reads 4 books a year. I read 4 books a months or more.
what is your favorite meal you serve to your family? I have a baked chicken recipe that my kids really likes. Periodically I make it for myself.

what are your hobbies? Reading of course but I also knit, crochet, and embroider.

Nancy, Hi and I hope you enjoy your week. What kind of town did you grow up in and what do you think the difference is from back then and today?
I see you are happily divorced, so am I.

Nancy, Hi and I hope you enjoy your week. What kind of town did you grow up in and what do you think the difference is from back then and today? I am a Polish girl from Cleveland. When I was growing up it was a nice ethnic neighborhood, today it is not far from where the Cleveland serial killer lived. I guess you could say it has gone downhill with a vengence.
I see you are happily divorced, so am I.

Hi! Congratulations on being Mom of the Week! I have a question for you. Because you have older children, have any of them returned home and how did you handle it if so? I have a 28 year old son that had to come back home due to financial reasons ... its been 2 years and he still hasn't gotten it together yet. Thank You and have a Great Week!!

I understand totally. Mine have all lived with me at one time or another. My son is moving back to Ohio from Texas this weekend and will be staying with me until he gets his act together. All I have is a small 2 bedroom apartment that was perfect for me but will be a little cozy for 4 people. I figure if he is going to live with me anyway, I might as well start looking for a 3 bedroom house and get used to the idea. If we split expenses I just may be able to save a little money so I can retire some day. I have been very fond of telling people that kids may leave home but they always come back and when they do there is usually more of them.
