HI! I live in Wilmington, California but I'm from Winnipeg, Manitoba.  I've live in U.S. most of my life, but still belong to Canada :)   I have 4 kids, no grandkids thank goodness!  they are ages 28, 22, 19, and 6 yrs old.  My 6 year old is the one who keeps me motivated to staying as young and healthy as possible! My older kids are still trying to age me on a daily basis!!

OMG! So many questions!  Well, for hobbies, I like to ski but my back is giving me problems. So, I took up knitting and everyone makes fun of me.  My husband and I are going to start sailing, just took some lessons and love it! If anyone lives close to me and wants to go sailing, let me know and I'll take you out!  I love to cook and bake, spend time with my friends having a glass of good wine.  My favorite T.V. show is Greys Anatomy, then all the cooking shows.  I have many favorite books, colors, and songs, I guess I'm like a chamelion, I go with the flow ...

Congratulations on being Mom of the Week.  So, how did you end up living in the US, even though you are Canadian?  I am Canadian.

Hi Patty! Well, my parents moved all of 4 kids down from Winnipeg back in the 60's.  Every year  I would go back to visit. My parents became US citizens in the 60's but the laws changed and I wasn't able to keep my citizenship under my parents.  It wasn't until after 911 that I actually had to decide to be Canadian or US and since it was cheaper to stay Canadian, well thats what I did.  I'm okay with it, my husband and I are looking to buy property in BC soon to retire...being Canadian will only help out.   Where r u from, and how did you end up here?  Are you in California??
