Did anyone else see her on Oprah yesterday? What did you think? I personally think she's kidding herself if she thinks John Edwards would not lie to her too--after all the lying he did to Elizabeth and the public. I have NEVER been MORE DISAPPOINTED in anyone in my whole Life as I have been in him. I really thought he was a good guy and loved his wife and family. I would NEVER vote for him again because I would never trust him to tell the truth.
Sorry it's taken so long to respond Pat. Norwalk has been going though my house. The only one it hasn't hit yet is Jared, and I'm just recovering. I watched the interview and I agree with you whole heartedly that she's kidding herself if she thinks he'd never lie to her. I found that Oprah was too easy on her. It's pretty obvious that the two are still involved. As always my heart in all of this goes out to Elizabeth and I think Oprah should have point blank asked Rielle how she could justify to herself having an affair with a man whose wife was not only battling cancer, but fighting a cancer battle she won't win.
I used to really like him, would possibly have voted for him, and now I'm just disgusted. I didn't watch the Oprah show, because nothing she could say would not have made my blood boil. I dated a married man once, but truly did not know it, and broke it off as soon as I found out, but there is no way she didn't know from the beginning. And yes, he will cheat on her too.
