Hi Im Candice... Well to get right to the point my husband is in the process of joining the Army and Im nervous. We have two small children but I know deep down this is the best solution to our problems. I guess Im basically looking for other wives in the military that deal with their husband being away and having small children to give me some advice. He has a few obstacles he has to over come before he knows when he is leaving for basic training but I want to be prepared and mentally ready to go when the time comes, with no surprises. So if there is anyone out there willing to coach me through this please let me know. It might be easier if you email me directly because I dont always check these posts.

Thanks

Candice

Hi! I'm Sabrina. My husband just joined the military too and he leaves for basic May 10th. I think he is excited but I am kind of nervous. We have a little girl, she's almost 4 now. Im not looking forward to how it is going to affect her, if it does so negatively. If you ever want to chat, just send me a message!!!!
