My b/f Blake is now deployed in Kuwait..He'll be there for some time before going to Iraq for the rest of his deployment..I am worried about his safety even though he has a desk job..I miss him and wish he was home in my arms right now..He also misses me as well as my little girl that calls him Bub Bub..He's always asking me about how she's doing and I'm always telling him..He treats her like she's his daughter, although she's not, and this means the world to me..Please pray for all our troops and their families..

Blake got online yesterday for the first time in four days..He's doing good..Just a lot of training..Keep him and all the troops and their families in your prayers

We should all pray for our troops.  Sounds like your boyfriend is a good guy and is good to your daughter.  I have magnets on my vehicles saying support our troops.  My husband is retired now from the army after doing 25 years and has been for 12 years....still works for the government on Ft. Benning.  We have our flag up and God Bless the men and women who risk their lives everyday for all of us.  Take care and get involved in a support group.  When my husband was in; I was very active in the support groups and it really helped (especially when he was deployed).

i know exactly how you feel. my husband got home 3 weeks ago. it was torture with him gone. our daughter is just starting to go to him more, but if i'm in the room forget it.

when my husband left it was just a few months after we got married. i was also 5 1/2 mos pregnant.

i could not wait till he got home.

our daughter is now almost a year old.

time moves at different speeds for everyone, for some it goes by fast, and for others it seems to drag.

i hope it goes by fast for you.

Glad to hear all is well.  It sucks when they can't get online for a while doesn't it?  A very good friend of mine is in the Navy and we've been in touch regularly since he left.  The past couple of weeks he's hardly been on because they're moving locations.  Today he said his time off is over and it could be a few weeks before he's on again.  A FEW WEEKS?!!  That's gonna be tough :(  Good luck to you, I hope you get to hear from him often.
