my name is Lisa and Iam new to cafe mom and being an army girlfriend. My boyfriend is deployed in iraq. Wow I didnt know how hard this was going to be. I do talk to him everyday either on the phone or on the internet but its not the same as holding him in my arms and knowing that he is safe. I thought it would be nice to be able to talk to other women that are going through what iam going through.... i know how you feel. my husband is now home from our first deployment. they don't get any easier.when he deployed it was just a few months after we got married, and i was almost in my last trimester (5 1/2 months.)nothing like hormones going crazy on ya, when your going crazy yourself with worry.
Hi, i am new to this group. I am also new to haveing a bf in the millitary. I ment someone that is in the army . He is in afganistan right now and waiting to come home. But, i can understand when you are up all night worrying. My friends call me Vi. Nice to meet you all.
I know this was posted about a year ago but I was wondering how things have turned out between you two. my husband has already been in the army for a little over two years and I know it is coming soon for when he is supposed to leave and I am honestly so scared. Any advice?
Im sorry I didnt get on here any sooner but when Jr came home from Iraq it became all about him and my little girl. It has been so AMAZING! Not having him with me for a year made me see that he is the only one that I ever want in my life and yes we got married! But we will be living apart again we just found out he is being stationed in HAWAII for 2 years, I would love to go with him but iam really sick and i have to do dialysis so I am gonna stay in Houston and work on getting a transplant... Thank you all for taking the time to read my post.. you all are in my thoughts and prayers.:)
