Education and Cultural exchange in Louisiana
South Louisiana is rich in Cajun culture and is a prime location for foreign exchange. The nonprofit organization that I work for has been placing students all across the U.S. since 1979. We have already placed students with several families in LA. If you have hosted an exchange student or would be interested in hosting a student feel free to contact me to share your story or inquire about information. We place students in both public and private high schools across the state. It is a great opportunity to add a new edition to your family & experience the world!

Each year, thousands of high school-aged students apply to become exchange students in the United States. Their goals are universal. Their experiences are as unique as their individual hopes and dreams and the families that volunteer to host them.
Since 1979, EF Foundation’s team of volunteers, local coordinators, and staff has helped over 90,000 students from nearly 40 countries participate in exchange programs. Our tradition of excellence, combined with our unparalleled support on the local and national levels, has made us the largest facilitator of high school year programs for exchange students coming into the United States.
