Thursday Thought 10-29-09

I was just thinking about how good God is,and how He is faithful to His word. But I also thought about how our own disobedience can effect our blessings. He says in His word He will give us the desires of our heart if we seek Him first,He also says He will supply all our needs according to His riches and glory.

Now we know when God is about to bless the enemy will set up a smokescreen and make us think nothings going right, but he can only put the thought its our confession that gets rid of that smokescreen and lets us see that God is still at work on our behalf and allows the blessing to come.

But there are somethings that dont work out right that dont have anything to do with God,or the devil, and that is our own disobedience. We need to learn to recognise those things and learn to walk in obedience so that we are not hindering God from blessing us.

For example God tells us to follow the laws of the land.Meaning laws like buckle up,not speeding etc.We follow different laws like these and knowone can speek ill of you.And you wont have the financial burden of taking care of the tickets you have to pay afterwards.

Or like He says seek Him first and His righteousness and all these things will be added  to us(meaning His blessings)But sometimes we try to just workout things ourselves and not goto Him for the answers until weve got a big mess.

So todays thought is walk in obedience Gods laws and the laws of the land, learn to recognise when it is the enemy and when it is your own disobedience so you know how to handle the situation. Then you will be able to walk in the full blessings of God!!!
