Update on Baby Girl #2

I am now 33 weeks and Baby Girl is doing great. = ) I FINALLY was able to change doctors back to my doctor who delivered Harley (I was NOT comfortable with my new one) with the help from my awesome case worker through my insurance.

In other news, I got into a fender bender last Monday when a short, rented bus hit me trying to cut me off on the on-ramp to a highway. He clipped my front driver's side bumper and took out my blinker. I was the one driving and he tried to bull sh!t me, saying he didn't have his insurance info or anything, so I promptly called 911 and they dispatched DPS out to take care of things (funny how he found all his info then!). He tried to say it was my fault, but the cops weren't stupid and could tell what happened by the damage that was caused.

Long story short, I spent 6 hours in the hospital getting checked out afterwards. I was having some contractions, so they gave me a shot to stop them and a pill to counter the side effects of the shot. All was well so they sent me home.

The next night, I was feeling pain in my stomach and back, so I went back to the hospital after it didn't get better when I drank water and laid down for 2 hours. Once admitted, the pain got worse and moved totally to my back on the right side. I was literally in so much pain I was crying for an hour straight, but they weren't seeing contractions and wouldn't give me anything. I kept feeling like I needed to use the restroom, so I'd get up to try every 10 or 15 minutes because I didn't know what else to do. Finally, the pain was so intense I felt nauseous and ended up throwing up from it (all I had to eat was some watermelon 3 or 4 hours prior and my husband had the same watermelon, so I know that wasn't the problem). Afterwards, the pain went away and I was all better. Weird. They discharged me saying it could be from the flu (I never got sick again, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't) or from the accident. Well, I sure as hell let the insurance company know about that!

All in all, though, baby's looking great and I'm doing good as well. We still haven't decided on a name yet, but Cameron's made it clear he does NOT want Kayleen as a middle name (Harley's middle name) because she is NOT her sister. I understand where he's coming from and I agreed. I will definitely update again as more things happen. Thanks everyone for your support!!! = )
