Michigan Hot Dog Sauce
1 # lean ground beef, browned
1 15oz can Hunts Italian Tomato Sauce
Rinse out can to add a little water
1 T chili powder
1 T cumin
1/4 tsp red pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 T Worcestershire Sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
Mix all ingredientss together & mix with a hand mixer ( to make fine). Simmer for 30 minutes or more to the consistency that you like.

oh that reminds me my sil sent me a coney island hot dog sauce from ny .. i gotta find it.... it is totally different from this one.. shh dont tell but i think i would like this one better than that one
If you find your recipe would you post it? My ex father in law had a recipe that was just loaded with spices & all......but I didn't like it as much as this one......& this one is so simple to make. The key I think is to mix it with the mixer......it makes it really fine & not like piling a bunch of hamburger on a hot dog.
