I know there are millions of recipes out there, ans a zillion different cooking groups. We all have our favorites, our tried and true recipes and those that are passed down from generation to generation. It will take a bit to put this together, but i want this to be your first stop when you are looking for that particular recipe or new recipe. please feel free to share yours under the appropriate title and if you arent sure where that would be, post in general discussions and i will move it to the appropriate forum. thanks in advance. i think this group is going to be great! My name is laurie, a.k.a. -devonsmom. i am a southern (tn.)girl who has also lived in mn , and is currently married into a sicilian family so southern foods and lots of pasta are staples at my house, but i love to try new things. i hope to help you out with some basics under hints tips and wisdom, and some great recipes from my family to yours! i want to share everything from the most basic, to the ones my family uses, to just some i found to be interesting and are in my "to try out" list. i also want this to be where you can store your recipes in case you lose yours. you will always have a place to go to retrieve those treasured favorites. i dont just post any recipe. the recipe has to really appeal to me and my tastes and hopefully yours too. if you are new at cooking and want to know how to do some basics that arent listed, please ask...we are here to help when you need us.
