Holiday shopping

Hi Everyone!

Have you started your holiday shopping yet?

What are your strategies for getting the right gift at the right price?

I have done my hubby's shopping already.  I got him an axe gift set and some PS2 games.  I found them all on sale at a great deal and couldn't pass up the opportunity to get them.  I found the games at  GoHastings.com  and they were all already 20-30% off and they had a promotion and I got 3 games for $13 and that was with the shipping!! I was quite excited!  We didn't have Christmas last year cause we didn't have the money... and I didn't have time to look for good deals online!!  

I haven't started for my kiddos yet... but I have some ideas and will be looking for good deals!!!

 My only strategy is shop around. Don't impulse buy.. I was looking for a toy for my daughter. I found it at one store for 40.00, another store for 29.00, another store for 21.99..i looked on line and found the same item for 6.99. I bought it then..

 i have only gotten a couple things for my daughter. i only get things on sale.

No I haven't started yet and I have to buy for seven kids.

Yes I have started getting the kids out of the way and then I will move to the grown ups.  I will be up bright and early  for black friday sales.

i havent started the actual act of shopping itself...just some serious game day strategy! LOL!

I go through the ads weekly and buy as I see things go on sale.  I dont buy on impluse, usually if I do I end up returning it lol.    Black Friday is a must too ;)

I've got my daughter started and need to  start my sonn i put a few things on lay-a-way and will do another in a bit.  We don't have a lot of room so we have to find placed that we can put them so the kids don't see them. I usually start right after christmas and hide them but with such a small place i can't do that.

I haven't even started yet lol! I have only gotten my youngest DD 1 gift and my oldest GD 1 gift. I plan on doing most of my shopping the first week of December.

I'm pretty much finished, did a lot online through u promise sites. But I bought the little one all size 4, and they're too big, so I guess I'll be doing some more shopping for size 3.
