These moms got themselves red carpet ready with Nice 'n Easy Color Blend Foam
We gave these 5 moms coupons for Clairol Nice 'n Easy Color Blend Foam and a $200 gift card to give themselves a makeover, and throw a viewing party for the People's Choice Awards 2012. We asked them to try the Color Blend Foam on their hair and share their experiences, as well as throw a viewing party for the People's Choice Awards, live-tweet the event, and give us a recap of their party (and their makeover) in words and pictures!
How do you get "red carpet ready" for those functions that require you to get just a little more dressy than usual?

I finished my hair and I love it! I chose 6R Light Auburn. The foam really blended well in to my hair and the color wasn’t just in one spot like some others I have had the problem with in the past. I liked the sudsy feel instead of the glop of other hair coloring products.

The blonde i got was ‘Light Blonde.' I was really surprised that one bottle covered all of my hair! It was very easy to mix up and very easy to apply :) My hair looked and felt very healthy afterwards. Now it's a really pretty brown, I love it :)

I was ready to get the highlights out, so I just went with number 4, Dark Brown. I really liked the Clairol foam. It was so easy to do. I wasn't sure there was going to be enough because my hair is so thick, but there was so much foam that I had some left over, lol. I'm very pleased with the results...."after" and my hair feels very soft.

I used the Clairol Nice 'n Easy Color Blend Foam color 5RB (medium reddish brown). The ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss is a FANTASTIC product. My hair felt and looked very young and healthy!!!!!! For the best picture of the color we decided to do a profile picture, AFTER my hair was colored and cut. It looks and feels fabulous!!!!

The foam was AWESOME to use, super easy, and I LOVE the Color Seal Conditioner that comes with it! My hair was SILKY SOFT!
hello gorgeous ladies! A little bit about me, I'm a full time mom and I currently work a seasonal job at Claires *which btw I love*
My usual beauty and style routine is pretty simple...shower, lotion. then once I decide on what to wear I go then to make up and decide what color to use.
Lets see here a Celebrity inspiration...I would have to say Gwen Stefani. I have always loved her amazing sense of style. I also love Gweneth Paltrow's style
Changes that I would like to make to my look would have to be that I would be more girly....the whole getting myself pampered thing and nice clothes and cute shoes
My idea of "red carplet glamour" would be an absolutely GORGEOUS Versace dress....that is if I could afford one :)
Hello Ladies!
I am a 46 yo SAHM of 18 years, and it has been really hard financially. I have been married for 23 years, but we've been together for 28 years. I have 3 beautiful children, and live in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is the only place I've ever lived.
My typical beauty & style routine is cleanse (exfoliate 2-3x/week), apply anti-aging products, moisturize and protect (foundation [on most days]). Makeup, daily I don't use anything, but if I'm leaving the house I will use foundation, blush, mascara, brow gel and lip gloss. I am not a makeup fanatic. I usually don't put that much effort into styling my hair on a daily basis; it's pulled back in a clip or pony tail. On the days I do do my hair, I use hot curlers and brush through it for a full bodied look. I don't have any particular style, but on most days you will find me dressed comfortably (sweats, shorts, jeans, t-shirts).
The only celebrity I look to for inspiration (beauty) is Ellen DeGeneres. She is a natural beauty, inside and out, and the makeup she wears accentuates her beauty.
Changes I would like to make to my look would be to keep my gray hairs covered and lose weight so I will feel more comfortable buying fun girly clothes.
My idea of "red carpet glamour" is someone looking their best by emphasizing their natural beauty; makeup isn't over the top and an outfit that highlights their features, not too revealing.
Hi!
I'm Sarah, I'm 26 and have been married 6 years. I have 2 young special needs kids and work full time as a legal researcher. It's very hard to find time to do a beauty routine, etc
I'm In love with makeup and everything about it. My everyday routine is similar to bama_mama's. clean up, pick out my clothes and do my make accordingly. I have a pretty BIG collection of makeup.
For celebrity inspiration, I also look to Gwen Stefani. SHe is gorgeous and I love her style.
Changes i would like to make for myself ... I've lost soem weight, so clothes, especially jeans, that fit. And it's been a long time since I've had a pair of really awesome shoes, so that's a must! AND maybe some more makeup :)
To be red carpet ready, I love love love gorgeous sleep designer gowns that are oringal yet classic.
and my twitter is Bowie_Lover
:)
Hey beautiful mamas! My name is Jenna. I'm 25 and a SAHM to my two darling girls and my animals!
My usual beauty routine... Well, on a normal day I shower, pull my hair back into a pony tail and throw on some jeans (or yoga pants) and a t shirt! Pretty simple! If I'm needing to go to town I add in some foundation, blush and maybe some clear lip gloss. If I'm going to a party I'll add some eye shadow, liner and mascara but not a lot and it's always pretty neutral as far as color goes!
Celebrity inspiration. WOW. I don't have any one specific person I look too but a lot of the country singers are pretty close to what I like.
Changes I would like to make to my look. I'd like to steer away from the t shirts and go more towards dressy casual tops. Something that can be worn every day but also dressed up! I'd also LOVE to add just one dressy dressy outfit as right now I have pretty much nothing!
My idea of red carpet glamour would be something simple and not too revealing! Something that naturally accents the persons color and shape! :)
My name is Stacey, I am 29. My husband and I own a small country store and I run that while he goes to work. I have two kids Nate is 6 and Abbie is 3, they are my whole life.
My beauty routine is quick and easy! For me it's a shower and lotion. Then I use a light moisturizer on my face and some loose mineral powder foundation along with tinted chapstick and eye shadow. My hair gets blow-dried and straightened and that's it.
Celebrity inspiration? Hmm...I always seem to like Rachel Ray's style.
There are several things I would change about my look, my clothes tend to be more functional than cute. I would love to get out of my jeans! Sometimes I feel like jeans and a t-shirt are my uniform, oh and my Birkenstocks I am slightly obsessed with them, lol. I would like to look more put together and stylish.
My idea of red carpet glamour is something simple and elegant.

HI Everyone! My name is Paula and i am a mother of three sweethearts. I am 33 yrs old and i work as a CNA in Home Healthcare.I am from the Mountains of N.C. , a Country Girl. My Beauty/Style routine consists of getting up in the early morning and refreshing my face with a gentle scrub with honey/ olive oil soap and spritz of lemon water to wake me up. I wear my eyeliner and gloss before i head out the door. At bedtime i cleanse my face with Noxzema Cleansing Cream . After cleansing i moisturize with Vaselines 100% Aloe Vera Lotion and i am set for the night. Three celebrities i look up to for their style and flawless skin are Kristen Stewart , Natalie Portman and Nadia Bjorlin. I love Natalie's very elegant and simple style ,Nadia's sophisticated sexy looks, and Kristens Rock Edgy one. Their hair and makeup always looks so flawless and not over done. Some changes i would like to make for myself would be to liven up my dull hair, make it feel fresh and new, something that will bring out my eye color and make me look younger.I want to even out my skin tone,Also i would love to glam up my style and get out of these Nursing Scrubs, lol! My idea of Red Carpet Glamour is women who look fresh, fun, lively and classy. Glowing skin, radiant hair and a gorgeous smile on their face to go with it!
Hi Everyone! I'm Jennifer, a mom and a college student. I'm 42 and have an 18 year old daughter.
My usual beauty routine is pretty simple. I don't wear a whole lot of makeup, but I'd really love to. I'm just not very confident in myself to put it on, I guess. As far as clothes, I'm a plus size girl, and have trouble finding affordable clothes that look cute in my size. I always do my hair, it is short and sassy, and I love it! I color it quite often because I like to keep the gray covered and try different colors.
As far as celebrity inspiration, I adore Halle Berry. I think she is beautiful and love her sense of style. One change that I would like to make is to lose weight.
To me, being red carpet ready, would be a fancy dress that would fit me perfect and great shoes.
Thanks cafemom!
HI LADIES!!!!
My name is Sherilyn, I am 32 and a single Mother of a 16 month old son named Jude! I am a chiropractic Assistant and love what I do! :-) I am a FREAK when it comes to make up and hair products! I just love it all! I have never done a CafeMom Influencer, so I am SO excited I was chosen for one, especially this one!!!!!!!
My routine is wash hair, blow dry and style everymorning, and then I pick my make up by my mood! Whatever I am feeling like doing for the day! I am in full make up every day!
I don't look too much to stars for clothing style, but I LOVE, LOVE Pink! I have looked to her for inspiration for hair and make up, I've even bleached my hair and cut it to a faux hawk before! :-)
Some changes I'd like to make..... Get out of my jeans, tshirt, and sneakers look!! I'd love something fresh and classy!!!
To me, Red CArpet is CLASSY, GLAMOUROUS, and Just F-U-N! I can't imagine actualy being on the red carpet! LOL!!
I am so excited to do this, and super glad to meet you ladies!!!! :-)
Hello Ladies!!! My name is Anya Alicia and I am a 26 year old single mom to a 5 year old boy and we live in Tennessee. I am a full-time college student studying Political Science/Pre-Law and a part-time server at a restaurant.
I don't have a lot of free time to get ready in the mornings before class and work, but I feel like impressions are important (especially when you are the face representing a company like I do for my restaurant and I also represent a student organization at my school), so I always try to look put together. I love makeup and as someone who grew up in a salon (my mother is a stylist)...I like to keep my hair looking nice. Unfortunately, I live far away from my mom and can no longer get that good ole family discount and my student/server budget doesn't allow for expensive trips to the salons in town. I can't wait to try the new Nice 'n Easy Color Blend Foam!!! I have tried other brands of home hair color and had not so great results, but I am excited and optimistic about this new product!! I think a foam will be much easier than the typical "mix in a bottle" color!!
My usual beauty routine is take a shower, pick out my clothes and get dressed, put a leave-in conditioner in my hair and brush it out. I like to put my hair up sometimes, but most of the time I let it air-dry because I have natural waves and curls that I like to accentuate and then I add a cute bow or flower. Then I put on makeup that I feel compliments my style of the day...which is sometimes very casual or semi-formal/business dress because I often have to attend luncheons and networking events for my student organization.
My celebrity style influence is Kim Kardashian...I LOVE LOVE LOVE her hair and think she is a true beauty and knows how to show off her best assets in just the right ways. I also love Lady Gaga because she is just so different and not afraid to stand out.
If I could make any changes to my look, it would be to lose weight. I was recently on a medication that caused rapid weight gain among many other problems. I am now off of that medication and am trying to lose weight. I would also buy more clothes. I need more staples in my wardrobe to create classy, timeless looks that I can make last to stretch my budget.
My idea of "red carpet glamour" is getting the perfect dress...something that accentuates all the right places on the body and gives an overall flattering look, statement jewelry that compliment the dress, and then the perfect hair, makeup and shoes. Create a timeless look of beauty that won't look dated when pictures are looked over years later.
