The Beauty & Style Lounge The Beauty & Style Lounge

Well i am a Siletto Girl in Training, my first tip is: You can buy 5 inch heels but make sure the platform is 1 to 2 inches thick/high so you are really wearing around 3 inches

Tip# 2 score the bottoms of new shoes so you don't slip nad fall

Tip# 3 if your knees bend when you walk , go down a inch , they are too high for you

Tip # 4 Spray the inside of your shoe with hairspray and slip on in them

Tip#5  Practice

I couldn't do the hairspray in the shoe....it would not like the feel of that on my feet

I agree... invest in Foot Petals.... they offer cushion and keep your foot from slipping.  You can also but stuff like grip tape to put on the bottom of your shoe for traction (especially in winter)

For extra heel and arch cushioning, slip orthopedic inserts into your flats. Most won’t fit into skimpy high heels, so use gel pads or Foot Petals, there instead. You can buy them at a drugstore for around $20, or spring for custom-made orthotics from a doctor.  Yeah, best to stick with foot petals, so you don’t have to say you are wearing “orthotics”. :)
