Another nail question

I seen in my last posted a lot of resting/naked nails, how often to you let your nails rest. I've have overlays on my nails for a long time. Recently hubby was laid off, gram got sick I took overlay off. I'm trying to keep my nails nice and healthy. I don't have much experience with natural nails. I have been going naked about 2 days every 2 weeks. I do my own mani's weekly at home

I never "rest" my natural nails cause there is really no need to.  I keep mine polished all the time and change them every 2-3 days.  I don't think I have had naked nails in over 5 years.

I don't let it go longer than a week or two before I paint my nails.
