Do you feel there is a certain age women should stop wearing their hair really long?

My husband has asked me this question.  Do you feel there is a certain age women should stop wearing their hair really long? Is is in their 30's or 40's or is it a personal decision? What do you think?

No, I think someone should do what they'd like, as long as they are happy with it. Putting a number on when you should stop this or that is silly.

Nope. I think a woman should wear her hair however she likes.

Nope, I don't believe in that at all.  I know a lot of people who think this though.  You should be able to choose how you want your hair at any age.

again, women should wear clothes, makeup, hair, etc that make them feel confident and attractive.  it's not about age or size.  I'm 42, so no, I don't shop in the jrs dept, but I'm not going to try to look like i'm in my 40s, KWIM?  I dress appropriate for my age, I have healthy hair and I don't want it short... I keep it healthy, so as long as I think it looks good, that's all that matters.

Well, I'm almost 43 and my hair lady will NOT cut my hair even as short as my shoulders (she doesn't like it shorter, and I trust her judgement since she always makes my hair look fabulous).

It all depends on the person.  I am 48, and my hair is long and most people think I am in my 30's.  Sure I cover up the gray, but who doesn't?  Then I know other women my age that look older because of their long grey hair.

When it starts to look raggedy. Then you should cut it.

It depends on how one would style their hair. Bows and hairclips are out.
