Do you use one?  Do you have a favorite brand?  I have very thick wavy hair.  Any suggestions for a brand and model?

What is the difference with ceramic plates and non ceramic plates?  I would love to see what I can do straighting my hair.  Mine is curly and very thin on top.

My daughter has one that is a Cortex and has the ceramic plates.  It works very nice.  I have a cheap one that does ok for me since I have straight hair and just use it make my hair look more sleek.

I have a cheap revlon one and I like it.  I hear the Ulta flat irons are just as good as Chi brand and cost half the price.

I had a revoln one and hated it because my hair kept getting caught in it and getting pulled out.  I now hane a Conair Infinity with ceramic plates that is great.  I love that the plate wraps around it so I can straighten and curl the ends under at the same time.
