Drugstore Beauty Binge — What Products to Try in 2013: Nyx Butter Gloss

1. When asked to name a drugstore lippie they adore, most of our makeup-artist friends will immediately tell us Nyx. That's because unlike most drugstore lip products, which lack impact or get goopy, Nyx lipsticks and glosses feature a high color payoff and a smooth, blendable formulation that makes them a dream to work with. So of course when we saw these new Butter Glosses, we knew they had to be at the top of our try-now list for 2013. They feature an even creamier texture (if you can believe that), a sweet smell, and a medium opacity that makes them great to wear alone for a subtle glow, or to layer on top of your fave lipstick for a more punched-up pout.
