We don't have a lot of money, but my city is infamous for overpriced bad quality. Is there a website I can go to to find out what stores actually have good quality products and decent prices? This income refund is about establishing our house. Furniture and clothes. I need to know where to buy a table I can afford that will last a seriously long time, like 5+ years lol. So any one know of a website?

I've had my dining room table since before I was born... so it's like 45+ years now, my parents gave me the set.  5 years is not a long time for an investment.  There are lots of companies that send catalogs, pottery barn, west elm, ballard designs, grandin road... good luck!

Try overstock.com.  Sometimes you can find great stuff on there, and their shipping is cheap, and sometimes free.

I love going to Flea Markets....you can get some great finds at little of nothing. I bought a 100 year old solid wood waterfall bed.....headboard, footboard and wood side rails.....$100. This thing weighs about 600pounds but is so worth it!!!! We reconditioned it and made it the focal point of our spare bedroom. You would be amazed at what you can do with some sandpaper and a little paint :)

Good Luck!!!

I like the buying used suggestions! Try craigslist too :)
