Secret to Kate Middleton's Post-Baby Flat Stomach Revealed
The other day Kate Middleton's shirt accidentally lifted up when she was playing volleyball and every woman in the world -- mom or non-mom -- was like, "Whaaaaa?" It was as if she never had a child. We've all seen celebs and people we know (maybe even ourselves) whip back into shape shortly after giving birth, but this was different. Kate's stomach was, like, seriously toned. (And there wasn't a trace of the linea nigra!) Did she sign a deal with the devil?
No. But it has been revealed how she got her envious figure back in what seems like the blink of an eye.
Curious? Of course you are!
Kate, who was reportedly determined to get back into shape, enlisted a personal trainer shortly after giving birth. There's a private gym at Kensington Palace, and that's where the magic happened. Kate regularly had one-on-one sessions, and when she wasn't doing that, she was running. Also, while she was at her parents' home in Bucklebury, she did a lot of walking. According to insiders, she's been taking her fitness seriously.
Also, it's worth noting that, in addition to exercise, the Duchess has been eating healthy, as well. According to Vanity Fair, "Carole whipped up nourishing fruit smoothies and healthy meals while Kate also snacked on her favorite muesli bars." Kate also didn't gain an enormous amount of weight while she was pregnant either, making losing the pounds easier.
So, there you have it. Not super complicated -- actually, it's really just basic math. Kate ate healthy and worked out. She might have an easier time doing those things, but really, it isn't exactly out of the question for us commoners.
