Which do you prefer and why? I'm debating on which to get done. Also if you do them at home what products do you use?

Neither, use to do it years ago, but now prefer my real nails.

My nails grow out fast and I can never keep them long without them chipping. Then I have that problem when I do my nails at home the paint doesn't last long because I cleaned my house or do dishes. So I go gel. I love it because it literally lasts me up to 3 weeks with no chipping. I recently got my toes done in gel too and yep it lasts me a whole month! If money is tight I do my toes. I'm into nail art and have almost everything from nail tape to decals. I go to a beauty show twice a year for professionals and stock up on the latest trends.

Neither. They both ruin your nails.

I bought a manicure kit and sally hensen nail hardner. I give myself a manicure when i need it and put on nail hardner every few days.

When i first started a couple of years ago i had to put on nail hardner every day but as my nails grow i don't need it on a daily basis anymore. I went on youtube and watched videos on how to do your own manicures and how to do nail designs

I use OPI products. They go on smoothly and last for well over a week.
