What kind of jewelry do you buy?

I have lots of jewelry but most all of it is inexpensive stuff. I NEVER buy expensive jewelry for myself. My hubby has bought me a couple of nice rings and necklaces, and I have about 20 really nice expensive rings that came from my grandmother. Other than that most of my bracelets, necklaces, and earrings cost under $20. So what about ya'll do you buy inexpensive jewelry or will you only buy the real stuff.

I don't buy jewelry, the only jewelry I wear is my wedding band.

I'm allergic to fake jewelry, and my ears swells up like a balloon ; if I put fake earrings in my ear.  All my jewelry is real, and one of diamond necklaces came from JCPenney, that my hubby bought me.

I'm pretty simple. I love the avon stuff...I rarely wear jewelry though-usually only necklaces and earrings...and it's always cheapies...I would be worried I'd wreck the good stuff

I don't usually like to wear jewelry, so my husband never buys it for me. I have a few more expensive pieces that his mother has given me over the years, and even though I don't really care for jewelry, she has assured me that all of hers is going to me after she passes. I just have never really been that into it.

Watches are really the only jewelry that I wear, if you count it as jewelry. I usually buy a new watch every 1 1/2-2 years. I just bought a really pretty watch so I probably won't buy a new one until 2011. Maybe 2010 if something catches my eye. Hubby buys me jewelry though but it's all jewelry with meaning. A few years ago he bought me the charm bracelet I wear, there's my wedding ring which is a handmade silver band that matches his ($5 for each ring and we have worn them for 12 years), this past Valentine's day he bought me a ring with hearts and stars that I haven't taken off since Feb. and a pair of Star of David earrings and a Star of David necklace and on Mother's day he bought me a gorgeous Mother of Pearl heart shaped necklace with Mother on it. Necklaces and earrings I only wear when I am in a specific mood, though. Rings, watches and bracelets I wear all of the time. He spends a moderate amount on me, around $30-$75 and I will spend up to $60 for a new watch but not more than that. One day, I want a black diamond annd that will be the most expensive tthing i will ever own.

I am not into a lot of jewelry, but i must have my earrings. I have to buy real earrings, or my ears will be soar for days to come, so i will spend a could amount  to get real quality.
