I have lots of jewelry but most all of it is inexpensive stuff. I NEVER buy expensive jewelry for myself. My hubby has bought me a couple of nice rings and necklaces, and I have about 20 really nice expensive rings that came from my grandmother. Other than that most of my bracelets, necklaces, and earrings cost under $20. So what about ya'll do you buy inexpensive jewelry or will you only buy the real stuff.
I love jewerly and I pretty much will buy something that catches me eyes but also on sale. Most of the stuff I wear I got at a really great prices but I'm always looking for more jewerls and deal.
Only His Noodly Appendage can enlighten you.
Watches are really the only jewelry that I wear, if you count it as jewelry. I usually buy a new watch every 1 1/2-2 years. I just bought a really pretty watch so I probably won't buy a new one until 2011. Maybe 2010 if something catches my eye. Hubby buys me jewelry though but it's all jewelry with meaning. A few years ago he bought me the charm bracelet I wear, there's my wedding ring which is a handmade silver band that matches his ($5 for each ring and we have worn them for 12 years), this past Valentine's day he bought me a ring with hearts and stars that I haven't taken off since Feb. and a pair of Star of David earrings and a Star of David necklace and on Mother's day he bought me a gorgeous Mother of Pearl heart shaped necklace with Mother on it. Necklaces and earrings I only wear when I am in a specific mood, though. Rings, watches and bracelets I wear all of the time. He spends a moderate amount on me, around $30-$75 and I will spend up to $60 for a new watch but not more than that. One day, I want a black diamond annd that will be the most expensive tthing i will ever own.
