It's hard to find less than perfectly sewed garments at JC Penney, but it happens.  I deliberately look for tiny tears, weird zippers, missing buttons, puckered seams.  Why?  Because then I ask for a generous discount on the item and fix it myself at home.  Now isn't this a great reason for all of you to learn to sew?

I would love to learnto sew. I have posted an ad for intrustion on Craigs List. Nothing yet. After 2 boys, I finally have a baby girl and I can't afford the boutique prices. I would love to learn to make pillowcase dresses or those cute jeans with the ruffles. Dreaming again,,,<sigh>
