This week has been one ordeal after the next. Mike is on vacation so he thinks I should drop everything and do what he wants. Well that is all fine and good but Doctor's appointments and therapy are set up weeks in advance. He just decided he had to use his vacation. Cass is in school and we can't really do anything. He thinks running all over town is more important than the kids plural Bay and Oopie's Doctor Appointment. He then complains for hours how inconvienced he is. He didn't want to go but two kids both getting shots Awwwwwwwwwwwww. I had made arrangements to go with my Aunt he dissmissed that plan and then proceded to make me miserable all afternoon. The house he has just decided is a wreck and I'm to spend every moment cleaning . He hasn't offered to help just cleaned the one room in the house that no one uses except him.He has irratated me to no end. Next month he will be working mornings and off in the afternoons then working nights. Nothing gets done the entire month of October. Neither of us feel good he got poision ivy poisioning, I got a absess in my leg. We are both on antibiotics and numerous other pills, but that's no excuse for taking over .  I'm so tired he has no idea what I do in a day and up to this point he hasn't helped at all just created more messes and complained about how I do everything. It doesn't help I hate the domestics of life. I would rather work with Oopie or teach Bay something than fold laundry. I live with a pack rat that constantly drags home something he thinks he'll use sometime. i bagged up some of the kids clothes to give away he went back through the bags trying to save the stuff i got rid of it's maddening. And how was your Week?angry

Oh, Julie. I feel ya, hon. My husband is an over the road truck driver. He is home for 2 days about every 2 weeks. I try to make sure there isn't anything scheduled when he is home, but we never know which 2 days he will be there! He starts projects he knows he can't finish, decides he knows what Dylan's schedule should be, etc. It's not so bad if he comes home on the weekend, but during the wee....gah!!!!

I hope the kiddos did well with their shots and I hope you all feel better soon!!

I called Aiden's cardiologist to refill one of Aiden's meds; the fill in nurse called the wrong pharmacy...

Fired Aiden's orthopaedic specialist who thought it was acceptable for me to drive 1.5 hours (one way)  for xrays and not see the doctor...

Took Aiden for visits with pediatrician (2 year check up and lots of blood work and new referrals), WIC,  swallow study, and rescheduled Aiden's PT.

Aiden is teething his top 2 year molars. Yes that is pleural, both are coming in at the same time..

Chris bought another new fish for tank, so he has me running all different places looking for 3 different types of food for current fish...

Teenager thinks she can go where ever she wants, whenever she wants... Her car needs brakes, rotors and a new battery, yet wants to spend all her money on clothes, concert tickets and speakers for car. Then wants to call us in the middle of the night because her car won't start and won't understand when we tell her no.

I'm so sorry. MEN?! Well, my husband is at the NU football game (tailgating now and just called). I think he's had too much to drink and it is not even 11 a.m.!!! He took the day off from work on Thursday to go fishing in Kansas. Umm? I'm home with three sick children: Nora ruptured her ear drum; Isaac has vomited mucus twice; Elliot has an ear infection and upper resp. crud. Oh, and I'm now ill as well. And yesterday, I drug all three kiddos to Elliot's Well-Baby check. I could barely hear our pedi through Isaac's screaming. Elliot had blood drawn again for potential elevated liver enzymes; he is down to his 19 month weight of 20 pounds (he's 25 months) and generally, is sicker than snot!

Isn't it fun? I love being a single mother - MARRIED nearly 8 years! LOL!

I hope you have a good day today, and can maybe get just a bit of rest.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time and glad you came here to vent.  My week started off rough (husband was grumpy one day and home later than he said the next which led to me feeling like he didn't want to spend time with me, which I said, and he said that was not the case, and the rest of the week has been better; also some minor drama at work which pissed me off).  However, the week has improved and we're going wine tasting tomorrow for my birthday and Nathan has managed to avoid getting sick at daycare for like 3 weeks straight so we'll actually be able to go do what we have planned.  :)  Nathan is getting another tooth (he has 2 partway in, which now as I see more turn out to be the first top molar on either side) and this one seems like one of the front ones on top.  It's bothering him some but not too bad, and plus I when he's cranky I know it's the tooth so I know what the problem is and how to help.

LOL! Sorry it's just nice to know i'm not the only one. My husband drives me insane during his vacations even if it's only a 4 day wkd! He decides he's bored but would rather give me tasks to do. I'm like your the one thats bored not me! My step dad has the whole mth of August off and he drove mom insane! I think thats why God made men work. He knew they couldnt handle being home all the time and that they would drive thier wives to the looney bin! For your sake i hope things get better or the time flies by for him to go back to work, i feel ya! Good luck:0)
