Hi everyone! After a couple of months of reviewing the functioning and purpose of the Official Message Board with the Admins and the Mods, I’ve decided to make some changes. Accordingly, the Board is going to be offline from this Tuesday, May 3rd until on or about June 1. 

 

The purpose for this month off is so that essential maintenance can be performed, software can be updated and the platform stabilized (in case you haven’t noticed, we’ve been running slowly again.) We’re also going to use that time to streamline things. The Board is a wonderful and varied community, but unfortunately, the sprawl is creating issues on various fronts. To this point, we are going to look at the different areas and do some serious trimming of non-essentials as well as some consolidation. 

 

Those are not the only changes, however. When we come back on line, we’re going to shift the focus to make it an even more welcoming and supportive environment to fans of the books. After that, we’re going to see how things roll and how members are doing- and then make decisions on whether and/or how to keep going. 

 

The Board has meant a great deal to a great many over the years, and I certainly have enjoyed my time there. I’ll be posting updates on my website and Facebook as to when exactly we’re going to come back on line- and look forward to “reopening.” Thank you all for your support of the Brothers and the Angels!
