A series like BDB

 So you ladies like BDB. So do I. After I read Twilight and BDB I went searching for another series that I would like just as much. Well I found it. Its called the Midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian. You ladies should check them out and join my group as well.

Thank you! I am looking for a new series. My sister (who got me hooked on BDB) told me about The Dark Hunter Series. I am three books in and I'm just not feeling it. I'll check out The Midnight Breed. Thanks for the suggestion.

There are two series of books that I read one book from one series and two books from another series and I don't know what they are or who the author is. I would like to finish them but need help.

The first-The first book was about a group of vampires. They don't drink blood but something called Bliss- or Blisky when mixed with whisky. They were a group of men protecting their race and the one I read the woman was a cop that came to a door to break up a bachelor party. There were bodies everywhere and she freaks thinking it is a murder scene but it is actually mannequins filled with this fake blood. Romance and Intrigue ensue. The vamps don't just sleep during the day but are actually almost dead during the day. It sounds weird but was actually a great story. I know there are more of them but don't know who wrote them.

Second-This one was about a group of shape-shifters. They have a camp they live in, there are people (other paranormal type individuals) hunting them, they are the protectors of their race. There was a town that the rest of their race lived in and these guys were considered outcasts even though they protect everyone. I read two books of the series, but know there are more of them out there.

These books accidentally were set in a bag of books to give away and now I don't know who authored them. if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
