I would love to learn more about the Hindu faith - their deities, festivals, etc.  ditto Jainism.

Oh, I know!  I know very little about it but I do know that.  They recently built a new Hindu temple in Tulsa (I know, can you believe it?) and I've been dying to go there.

You should go. You would be welcome with open arms I'm sure.   Temple is quite an experience for those who have never been.

I'm not surpised about a Temple  in Tulsa, I believe ( I could be mistaken) the largest Hindu temple in the states is in Georgia.

Oh yeah. I forgot to include this for you.. It's a calender of celebrations for the year :-)    Just so you can check out some of these things if you would like.. My person favorites are : Diwali, Holi, Karwa Chawth , Krishna Janmashtami   ..

I have a friend who is an Odinist.  Also, there's a lady in another group I'm in that just started dating an Odinist and wants to know more about it.  Unfortunately, I can't get much answers out of my friend.
