New to group.  Tryin to be an old fashioned mom in the modern world.  Raising teenage girls and wishing I did everything different when they were little.

Hello and welcome!  Don't we all look back and say, 'what was I thinking?' I think it's part of parenthood and life.  So don't stress about the past, but look at what you can do now. 

Just a tip from my own childhood experience, no matter what happened in life, what choices my dad made on raising us, no matter how my mom treated us, all of my siblings now can look back at know without a doubt that everything my dad did was because he loved us.  He always made sure we knew that and it got us thru some really tough years as a family.  He made mistakes but it was always done in love.
