If you don't have the book, don't fear. I have copied the first chapter of the book verbatim. The only thing is that it may be hard to read do to the blog I'm using, it won't allow indents for paragraphs. The link to the chapter is here.

Just remember you get what you put into it. If you don't put a lot of effort or energy into changing yourself to follow God there will be little to no change. I REALLY want a change in myself and am doing this for that exact reason. Hearing from others and seeing how they are doing this study in their own life brings me joy and helps motivate me.

Now on to the study. After you have completely read the first chapter, either by the book you have or by the blog page, answer these simple questions. When that has been accomplished discuss with each other what you plan on doing today to start putting God first. At the end of the week post how it went and where you need to improve. You can do a daily journal or log her with how it is going in your journey to be devoted to God.

The questions:
What is your first name?
Is this the first time dedicating yourself to God? If not, explain.
Tell us about yourself and why you are participating in this Book Study.
What are you going to do today to be completely and utterly devoted to God?
What things/steps/whatever do you need to do/accomplish to be "A Woman After God's Own Heart"?

I'm normally VERY bored. Most of the time I feel like I don't have any support. Don't really have much friends. Feel free to message me and learn more about me.

What is your first name? Rebecca
Is this the first time dedicating yourself to God? If not, explain. This isn't my first time dedicating myself to God. The first time didn't go well and I have just been avoiding God. Now I see that my life is in dire straights. This time I will make it work.
Tell us about yourself and why you are participating in this Book Study. I'm 25 with my life collapsing around me. Three kids whom I want to have a MUCH better life and mother. For the first two years of my twins life I have neglect 'em. Everything changed when I first dedicated my life but it didn't last and I ended up going through a crisis. I'm doing this study for myself, kids and husband. To have a better life and receive support. Which in real life I don't get much on a daily basis.
What are you going to do today to be completely and utterly devoted to God? I'm going to pause as much as possible and pray to God for His guidance on each crisis/whatever arises.
What things/steps/whatever do you need to do/accomplish to be "A Woman After God's Own Heart"? Just do it. I'm always lost and now I know the best thing for me is to stop, change perspective and ask God.
