Okay.
I met DH in Feb 2001 and we married July 27, 2002. DS was born June 2003.
DH had 2 kids with his exwife SS 13 and SD 11. They seperated in 1998 right after SD was born Dec 98 ish. They finalized the divorce in Dec 99.
DH was a full time father when I met him. He had skids everyweekend and 'babysat' them for bm durning the week. (So basically he had them 6-7 days a week) and BM kept them overnight when it was convient.
DH and I had a great first year then we went through some growing pains. It wasn't pretty. Then he learned that its my way or .... well its just my way. LOL! Just kidding.
As of Nov. the 8th we have full custody of skids. Bm gets them 1,3 and 5 weekend. No holidays but she does get 2 weeks in the summer.
I can't say how it will go but we have never followed the CO and we will never tell her(or the skids) no just because it isn't 'their time'. We have always just done whatever we wanted and we probably will continue....

Hmmmm...17 months? How about I started hanging out with DH as friends in November, "dating" (if that's what you want to call it...lol) Mid-December, engaged New Years Day, married in April.

Bm's husband # 2 --she met, pregnant and married in 5 months. Met in Sept married and pregnant be feb.
Bm met and married husbnad # 3 in 6 months --they lived together after 2 months but they had to wait for his divorce to be finalized before they could marry.
So compared to BM's track record.......I doubt anyone on Cafemom could compare... not with all 3 of hers.

Why would anyone "judge" on here anyway? What is the point of having a forum to discuss situations to better yourself if you are going to be judged. I do recall a saying .. Judge not lest you be judged.. Cast the first stone... Anyway I thought CM was to help people through hard times not judge them for their mistakes.
