Well we did our hike at the falls and it went pretty good until my 8 year old daughter took a 10 foot fall of the side of a trail. Thank God she is ok!!!!! She is pretty banged up and sore but no major damage....except I came very close to a heart attack. But up until that point we enjoyed a family outing with gorgeous weather. Those kind of events are rare for us b/c my husband always gets mad about something and we end up having a terrible time. He did get mad but after Kyndal fell we were just so thankful that she was ok that he chilled out.
My mom is in town...she is still at her friends moms. She called and asked me to meet her at walmart sunday and I was in the middle of family drama with Josh's family so I told her I could not make it. Well a few hours later I did run to walmart and get Josh's cousin a bday cake...and lo and behold as I am walking through the doors out comes my mother and proceeded to call me a piece of crap and walk away from me...................It was embarrassing and it really pissed me off but once I explained to her what happened she seemed to chill out. Of course I am sure my whole family knew about it before the end of the night.
So yeah that was my great weekend...minus an entire day (sunday) of more family drama that would require me to write a novel....
