that is a sticky situation. My brother lives on and off with my mom and dad...when he is not in jail and since I dont want anything to do with him there was a few times I put off going to see them. I went through the same kind of issues you are...what if something happens and I didnt go...(my parents both have health issues so I worry about those kind of things). Hope you make the choice that is comfortable for you. Do you think your sister would be open to leaving for awhile if she wants you to come and see him so bad???

no, i keep putting it off,    and making excuses in my head,   part of the problem is also my dad hates my husband,  and i left my husband for 9 months and my dad and sister were so happy,  i couldnt find a job,  and my son turned 18 so i lost my state help so i got evicted and so i tried to live with my dad and sister,  i lasted 4 days,  and my son was with  a friend and when he got to my dads my dad was so horrible to him we went to our group and my son  said i will never go back there,   so we asked my husband if we could move back home,   so five months later we are still here and working things out,   so my dad is mad i moved back home,             so that is another reason i dont want to talk to him
