Ok My mom and her hubby are both  addicted to pain pills and sleep in the bed all day

They  have like 19 cats ,  they  live in fitlh  ( the neighbors  say you can smell the piss smell across the  alley )

They   have disowned us ( me and my brother ) for suggesting the  life they live is  not normal

They verbally abuse everone ,

At  my brothers house one of them    took  my  nieces pills Vicoden , right after the poor thing got here  wisdom teeth pulled ,

Finally  someone called her out ,

she  took back all the  gifts she had bought his whole family (even the  grandkids kiddie pool they  were swimming in )

My grandmother finally told her she needs to get some help

She says   I just had two worthless ungrateful kids they are the one with the problems

My grandma   87 years old says     YEAH Right

I may be a slob and would have a house full of cats too, but I would never take pain pills from anyone. That is just sick behavior. It's sad your grandmother saw it, but that they don't . . . so people . . .

yeah that was the final straw for my bro   His daughter had just had the wisdom theeth pulled and had the full bottle of meds ,   My mom and stepdad were in the house all day ( too much sun )   cause they stay in bed all day,     All the kids were in the  blow up pool and the adults were  grilling.      The pills were in  Stephs room ( no excuse for anyone to go inthere ).

Later when  Steph needed a pill the bottle was gone  , It was sad to hear how she suffered because  Her doc would not refill the  script  ,   ( he believed they were stolen but the law ya know).

I have nothing against cats but they don't ever  change the litter pans and they are not trained so they pee all over the house .

My  mom Does not cook they order everthing delivered and  never take the  trash out ,  I am not  judging a bit of slobiness   but the city has fined them for the smell and the yard   that is   extreme to me.

Yikes!!! The city fined them and they still haven't done anything about it?? That is a bit extreme . . . Wow . . . And that is so sad for your niece. The laws have gotten a lot tighter over the years because of people abusing those pills. that woman should be ashamed of herself, but I know she's not.

That is sad...but that is how my mom's house looked a few years ago...only she didnt have the excuse of being strung out, it was just nasty. When she moved out and the landlords were cleaning it they just ripped all the carpet and linoleum out and put new in instead of trying to clean it. Now my mom and dad live back together and their place is so nasty I usually wont stay there, I go stay with friends.

I    won't go there   ( I live 900 miles away for   years ) but   I will stay at my brother or grannys house   I break out in hives from the cats   ( allergies)   She  gets  pissed  about that too

This woman abused us as children  and has had the world convinced that   we  were bad people   but now  the  family is starting to see the truth about her   .  Her drug problem really only started a few years ago,    The think is since she is drugged up all the time her true character is  showing,

Her house is filthy because  it was always my and my bros job to clean it   ,

If she found a dirty dish  we had to wash every dish in the entire house  ,   So   to  see her living this way is a shock to my grandmother

There is a few people in my life that have said it to me and I was relieved to hear that someone finally believed me but I was wondering what the hell took them so long too....yea I know what you mean=) I got an email from one of my moms lifelong friends the other day asking me if I parent like my mom did....LOL and then she started telling me all this stuff that my mom used to do and say to me that I didnt even remember....she told me that she wanted to take me into "protective custody" and that is when I wanted to say....SO WHY DIDNT YOU EVER DO ANYTHING??????
