I have not been on at all lately. I know I should be here working on getting our little group goin but I am having major issues here. I have been trying to pick up extra shifts here and there and try and get us out of this mess we are in, Bryce spent his time in cincinnati telling anyone that would listen what horrible parents Josh and I are so I have been constantly dealing with my mom. He came home last week with an extra 20 lbs on him and an even crappier attitude than he left with and I just realized today that school starts for the kids a week from tommorow and I had no idea....and school for me should start the week after that but as usual there is no way we can swing it so there is another semester I wont be in school ( I had to quit almost 3 years ago for what was supposed to be the remainder of the semester and havent been able to get back and I am very stressed about this...I am not getting any younger!!!!) My kids have been completely out of control lately and I have no idea where to even start to straighten things out with them.....this house has been a circus....and to top it all off my brother and his 3 kids are homeless and are wanting to come here and stay for awhile to take a "vacation" instead of staying in ohio and looking for jobs (I am excited to see the kids but we adults just started speaking again a couple months ago after major drama so this is going to be a tense situation) They are coming tomm and suppesed to just be staying the weekend but my mom keeps giving me the feeling that they are planning on getting down here and then staying for longer. Josh and I are not getting along at all and I am not even sure why anymore at this point...so yea, I have thought about getting on here and posting a few times but every time I get near the computer I find myself sitting forever playin zuma and that is about as far as I get. I hope everyone is well and enjoying the summer....So how is everyone else??? Anything exciting happen to anyone so far this summer???

actually, as far as the dysfunctional family goes, it's been quiet (knock on wood QUICKLY!!). My daughter has been having a good time with friends. My son has been around his friend for most of the summer and he's with his Uncle and cousin and friend. Saturday though, he goes with his other Uncle and Aunt to a Beach party with his sister, her friend and more cousins.

As for me, I have gotten to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince! YAY!!! I finished the major edits to my book. I am not working on the smaller edits - that I missed while I was sick last week (still can't get rid of the cough!! Ugh!) and I sent out my first query letter to a literary agent! More will follow on August 3rd when I get some more money.

Anyway, really that's all I can think of at the moment so basically so far so good! I just hope it stays that way! Cross your fingers for me!

BTW, Sorry things are so bad at the moment. If you ever need to bend someone's ear, I'll be around. You can pm me.

Well I am glad you are havin a fairly quiet summer. I am reading all the harry potter books right now...just finished #4 and started on #5...I LOVE them!!! I have only really half watched the movies so I was surprised that I like the books so much.

Good luck with your book...one day I hope to write a book but its gonna be a long while=)

I love the Harry Potter books! LOL! In fact, I stayed up and got one of my books at Midnight! In fact, that was the Half Blood Prince. My friend Susan picked up the last book for me when she got hers at Midnight because I couldn't go.

Another good set of books is Twilight, but they can be rather addictive. I've read Twilight and New Moon five times each. Yes, they are that good. I didn't expect them to be and was totally sucked in!

Anyway, thanks for the good wishes! I do hope I get published too! You might be able to read my book one day! At least that's the hope!

Yeah I am already totally addicted to Twilight=) I have read them all twice and once I get through Harry Potter I think I will read them again.
