My daughter is going into middle school this year. I remember when it used to be Junior High and it didn't start until 7th grade. What I don't get is that society says our kids are growing up too fast, but aren't they pushing them to grow up fast?? It doesn't make any sense to me. Either you want to help a kid be a kid or you want them to grow up. You can't have it both ways!

Anyway, she doesn't start until the 8th of September. I guess I'm just a little worried for her. Kids are mean and though I think she can handle herself, I worry. Guess it's just my job as the mom, right?

Bryce goes to middle school next year, I cant believe that!! Yes as a mom it is our job to worry about them...if we dont, who will??? I am worried about Alayna...she started 1st grade this year and she barely knows how to read. Kyndal was the same way and ended up having to repeat the 1st grade. It worked out really well for her but I hope Alayna can catch up before the end of the year. Now she has missed 5 days of the first 2 weeks of school so its not looking good so far
