Ingredients

1-1 1/2 pounds fresh asparagus
 salt
 pepper
3 tablespoons butter

Instructions
---

Rinse and trim the stumps off the asparagus. Place it in one or two
layers in flat baking pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and dot with
the butter. Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes at 300. The asparagus
will be crunchy and not lose color.
