Don't know if density is the right word to use, but does anyone know what supplement I should take if I want to add density to my muscles and more staying power? I heard creatine (sp?) can work but does it add bulkiness or actual mass? Anyone know? I want to take something but I'm worried about side effects, etc. And I DO NOT want to look bulky. I'm building and toning my muscles but I've always had a hard time keeping them that way even though I keep up with my regimen and then switch things up, etc. I follow all advice but I think it's genetics in my case. It's only the muscles in my arms that I want to add mass to because I'm going to start fencing in January and my upper body is my weakest area, so I really want to be working on it before I start classes.
