I used to dance... I had danced for about 20 years, since the age of two. I don't have the time with two children to chase after, school stuff, I am starting my own business, helping my husband start his, and everytime I turn around I am being asked to plan a wedding and be in a wedding. Go figure! I need to get my legs back in shape and toned back up and get rid of the cellulite in the backs of my thighs. If anyone can think of any exercises that will help please let me know. Thanks!
Hi..
Floor exercises will do the trick with up to 5 lbs weights on your legs to tone those muscles. Start out with what you can be consistent with, even if it is for 10 minutes 5 days a week.
I work for a fitness company and we sell classy, noise-free exercise machines. You are welcomed to check us out at: http://www.yowzafitness.com/.

Lounges are great for the entire muscle group of the leg - quad, hamstring, and buttocks. I would start slow...I do not recommend wearing weights around the ankles as a previous post suggested. Running will also do fabulous for slimming down your legs. Consistency - yes is right on. Weight machines such as leg press - gets all groups of your legs' muscles. Knee extension and ham curl machines as well.
Before I started reading your post I thought "dance". But then I saw your post and I can understand why you have no time, but...I used to dance ballet many years ago and took several years off because my kids were small. I just recently started back and oh what a difference!! My legs and everywhere else are so changed! If you can't go to a class, just try your own "barre" at home. It's still the best exercise!
pilates with a focus on the legs are amazing...pilates is more for muscle lengthening, stretching and toning as opposed to building muscle =)
