BOO!
Halloween is coming soon to Latte Land! Well, it's supposed to be. The Unfriendly Ghost stole it! The pumpkins, the candy, the decorations -- everything has been taken away.
The citizens of Latte Land want Halloween back and need your help appeasing the Unfriendly Ghost. Thanks to the Gossip, we found out a favorite pastime of his -- collecting Jack-o-Lanterns. In order to save Halloween in Latte Land, baristas need to gather 10,000 Jack-o-Lanterns for the Unfriendly Ghost.
Starting today (10/23/09), everyone can start collecting Jack-o-Lanterns. You can find them in any part of Latte Land (from Macchiato Heights to Java Wonderland) when serving any customer. When you find one, it will be noted in your journal. As you search for Jack-o-Lanterns, we'll keep everyone updated on how many have been found.
Once all 10,000 Jack-o-Lanterns are collected, the Halloween Celebration can begin! As an added bonus, we have a few special rewards for participating:
- 10 randomly-selected players who find a Jack-o-Lantern will receive a tasty real-life Halloween treat.
- 10 players who collect the most Jack-o-Lanterns will receive special items that will be useful for future Halloween visitors.
- Any player who finds a Jack-o-Lantern will receive an award (and Energy Pack if above level 30).
