Shootings at Fort Hood

• Our hearts go out to them, and their families.  Very frightening to happen on a base especially.  Will troops still be deployed or will they wait and give them counseling first? Unbelievable.

• That is so sad.

  You know you think your safe being on a Military base but the truth is your not safe anywhere.

  I hope those Soldier that did that get some help. Deployments can make a soldier lose their minds. I know that is no excuse for what they did. My hearts go out to my fellow Military families going through this very hard time.

• I just watched the briefing from the Colonel (?) and saw that! My friend has a coworker who was there and got shot 3x and just got out of surgery and is stable. He is a newlywed whose wife was flying over from CA to see him before he deployed to Iraq :(
