I still don't think I am quite sure how the Basement works. The goal is to get them all to "go up" and I know that they are in pairs. So what is the stratagy? You get one member to go up and then you try and serve their pair so they go up and once both are up then they won't come back right?
For example my Nanny went up so if I can get the Straight Flush to go up before she gets recaptured then they will both stay "up"...????
And how do you know when the Queen recaptures them?
I'll tell you how it works in general terms. All the hostages are in pairs except one. When both members of the pair are released then you will never see them again!
So you serve the first person (pregnant mom) it says she escaped up the elevator...you cheer! Then you serve a few more hostages nothing really happens. The hostage Unnew mom shows up and you serve her it says the pregnant mom was recaptured by the queen...you curse! And then it happens again and again... over and over again so you are pulling out your hair and making your family miserable while you contemplate smashing the computer screen with your keyboard. Welcome to the basement!

So it really all is just luck with very little stratagy. Bah, I better invest in some wigs because I think my hair will be all gone by the time I finish this. I can see where this would get verrrrry frusterating.
Honestly, it's 99.9% luck. Even if you just click through it, it really won't take you much (if any) longer than if you keep track and think about it. You can't really control it too much.

That sounds just about right. Good thing I had very thick hair and could spare a little. LOL
Thank you Ladies! Your walk through and help throughout the game has been so appreciated. <3 Call me crazy, but so far I am actually liking the basement. I have sent three couples up to saftey already and if some come back I find it kind of funny....yeah crazy I know. I haven't run out of ingrediants yet, though...
Thanks again for being the pathfinders so the rest of us can really enjoy it!!! I can't imagine how frusterating it must have been to try and figure this all out.
