Both of these items say that they only +2 to marketing skill...is one better than the other?  Are there any other "secret" benefits of one over the other?  They are kinda expensive for me at level 21...so I want to spend my money wisely!

Can anyone help me out?

They are equal. If/When you buy both you'll have +4! =)
